There is an amazing tool known as greasemonkey for firefox! it will let you customize the way web pages display for you. So i edited a script done by snake-arsenic to display a level 59 saint. with greasmokey you can give yourself custom auras!

Since I'm new it's not perfect. I wasn't able to figure out to make it say saint in the aura part of a post. I'm also not sure how to make it display the saint aura for your level. But this does mean we can have custom auras for those who want them.(the only catch is only you can see it)

To make things clear all of my post have the level 59 saint for a level icon. I show up as an affiliate in the user base, and my page also has the saint. But since i am the only one using the script no one else can see it.

I'm going to play around with the script some more and see if i can get it to display SAINT as the aura in the forum post. If anyone wants to try it and if it is ok with snake i might upload it so i can be installed in anyone's add-ons.

It's much easier than i thought it would be. If i knew it would be i would have learned css a long time ago.

I still need to get back in a good mood to learn css though, I've been lazy about it.

I think it goes well with the dark backgrounds here. I've seen quite a few people mention it every now and then. You really did make something cool with that. The only issue is that it shows up clear white on some PCs.

The expression that changes the aura to mod only looks for the last letter and if the file type is GIF and changes that letter to G. Changing the 'G' to an S would make all the non-mod auras point to an imaginary saint aura on the NG servers eg. "http://licon.ngfiles.com/level12S.gif ".

Change the expression or add a new one to modify "http://licon.ngfiles.com" to point to your server so it comes out as "http://www.myserver.com/level12S.gif" and populate the server accordingly.

As for changing the aura name there are checks in my Aura Wars and BBS auras scripts that aren't fooled by usernames and it shouldn't be too hard to modify so that they can replace. Of course, you'll have to treat userpages differently to forum pages, especially if you want the case to match.
